PRESS RELEASE
In observance of this year’s International Day of Democracy 2012, an initiative established by United Nations fifteen years ago, is being celebrated on September 15 2012. In light of this our department is joining the United Nations in working towards bringing democracy education to all citizens.
In recognition of this significant milestone, the Electoral Commission has approved the following list of activities planned from September 15th to 21st, 2012 in an effort to engender public discourse, while at the same time, highlighting the operational functions of the Electoral Department:-
