Miss d’Auvernge was appointed Chairperson of the Electoral commission on June 12, 2012.
During her short stint, she represented the department on numerous occasions at various seminars, conferences and election observation missions, particularly in Central and Latin America.
Her tenure brought about some organizational changes in the department, particularly in the Administrative Section. Her long term vision for the department was far reaching and she was even contemplating a relocation of the office to more suitable premises.
We, the management, members of the commission and staff, would like to express our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Miss d’Auvergne in this time of sorrow and grief.
